Every round starts with a 12-second betting period. The game uses 8 standard decks of 52 playing cards.
Use the chips to select the size of your stake, then place them on the bet you want to make using the graphical interface. Once the betting period is over, the dealer will start the game.

Note that only the last digit of the total counts. For instance, a total of 14 counts as a 4. All cards 10 and over essentially count as a zero.
The hand closer to 9 is declared the winner and receives a 1:1 payout. Banker is always slightly more likely to win, which is why all bets on Banker pay a 5% commission. Beyond that, you can also bet on a Tie, which wins if both hands have the same total.

As far as the base bets are concerned, the best strategy for Fortune 6 Baccarat is the same as with any other variant of the game – always bet on the Banker. This is especially true in version where there’s a 5% commission involved, such as this one. Ironically, the commissioned version of baccarat actually offers better odds for Banker bets.
Beyond that, this Pragmatic game is all about the side bets. The best part about them is that they offer high RTP rates compared to common baccarat side bets. For example, the Fortune 6 Pair side bet has 97.83% RTP, which is a big improvement over the usual 89.64% you would find with a classic Pair bet with an 11:1 payout. We’ll first point out that the game comes equipped with everything you would expect from a high-quality live casino game. Personally, I find that baccarat can get very stale very quickly due to a lack of real options. The best strategy is always to just repeatedly place Banker bets, after all. That’s why the side bets are such a welcome addition – they provide additional options without messing with the game’s core, and they have a decently narrow house edge as well.
Fortune 6 Baccarat is certainly innovative, but not ground-breakingly so. I can safely recommend this game for baccarat fans who want to stick to classic rules but don’t mind spicing things up with a few fresh ideas. Also, it’s an absolute must-play if you’re a fan of side bets in baccarat.
