Ezugi’s portfolio of live dealer games is known for straightforward, to-the-point titles for fans of the classics. Of course, that only gets you so far – and Ezugi already has all the big casino games covered. As part of their tightly-packed 2021 release schedule, we’re going to see some more unique games.

The Salsa Baccarat casino game by Ezugi is a rather casual, fun-oriented live dealer baccarat table. As the name implies, the game is banking hard on the appeal of Latin music and presentation.

For one, Salsa Baccarat live tables are available in both English and Spanish. The UI can be further customized in 5 additional languages. It also means you’ll be hearing upbeat Latin American music throughout. The dealers are also lightly dancing to the music in the background, which is a bit of a unique concept, to say the least.

In practice, though, the fact that the dealers are dancing is not nearly as insane as it sounds. It actually mostly just contributes to a relaxed, casual atmosphere not found in most Ezugi games. The Salsa live tables are also rather low-stakes, though that may depend on your choice of live casino.

This is by no means the first time we’ve seen something like this – Evolution’s Blackjack Party comes to mind first. Compared to that, though, the overall impression here is relaxing rather than a hyped-up party atmosphere.

How to Play Ezugi Salsa Baccarat Online

  • Underneath the new presentation is pretty much a standard game of Live Baccarat, much like Ezugi’s flagship title. The goal of the game is to predict which of the two sides – player and banker – will have a higher card value. Most cards have their face value, except that every card 10 or over is counted as zero. Moreover, if the hand value is a two-digit number, only the second digit counts. For instance, a hand with a value of 14 counts as 4.
  • Like most instances of live casino baccarat, there are no limits to how many players can join. Just pick any Ezugi Salsa Baccarat game table and you can start betting.
  • As far as the payouts go, this is a standard version of online baccarat. This means that player bets pay 1:1 while banker bets have a 5% commission, meaning they pay out 0.95:1. Tie bets win at a rate of 8:1, which is also standard (though we’ve seen instances of 7:1 odds.) All of this means is that a Banker bet is the best option here, offering an RTP of 98.94%. Player bets are next with 98.76%, while tie bets are as bad as always with 85.66%.
  • Beyond that, you can take a shot at one of the four available baccarat side bets.
  • Player Pair: predicts that the first two cards dealt to the player are a pair. Pays 11:1 for 89.64% RTP.
  • Banker Pair: predicts that the first two cards dealt to the banker are a pair. Pays 11:1 for 89.64% RTP.
  • Perfect Pair: predicts that the first two player or banker cards are a pair of the same suit. Pays 25:1 for 86.97% RTP.
  • Either Pair: wins on a pair by either side. Pays 5:1 for an 86.27% RTP.

Our Verdict of Live Salsa Baccarat

When it comes down to it, the presentation is the only thing that sets this live baccarat game apart from the competition. If beautiful Latina dealers swaying to salsa sounds like your thing, you’ll love it. Beyond that, though, there are probably better options for top live baccarat games out there.

To be clear, our Ezugi Salsa Baccarat review is not a negative one. The underlying rules here are actually quite good and potentially profitable. However, we don’t feel like the salsa gimmick contributes too much to the overall experience. It’s a solid contribution to Ezugi’s portfolio, but Salsa Baccarat won’t be anyone’s favorite game any time soon.
