Still relatively new to the market, OnAir Entertainment’s first few games covered the classics. Roulette, blackjack, baccarat, the usual. Then, it seems, the company moved to cater to some more niche audiences – such as with their fresh Dragon Tiget game.
Blazing Dragon Tiger is a classic take on the popular Dragon Tiger casino game. Despite the explosive title, the game does not differ from standard variants made by other software providers. In short, it’s a straightforward product for people who aren’t looking for anything too “out there.”
That said, OnAir Dragon Tiger comes equipped with a lot of quality-of-life features and an impressive 9 side bets. Granted, these aren’t the most creative or diverse side bets out there, but they’re available nonetheless. All of this is then packaged in a charming Asian-styled studio. Thanks to Chromakey technology, the studio can be further customized. It all looks quite crisp and modern.
That said, Blazing Tiger Dragon is not as innovative as some other OnAir Entertainment live casino games.
As we already mentioned, Blazing Dragon Tiger uses the standard ruleset for this type of game. We’ll walk you through your options.
Blazing Dragon Tiger uses eight decks of 52 playing cards. One round of the game is extremely simple – the dealer will place one card on the ‘Dragon’ part of the table and one on the ‘Tiger’ spot. Whichever side has the higher value card wins.
In Dragon Tiger, Kings are the strongest possible card. Aces are the weakest and always count as one. The remaining cards work as you would expect them to, ranging from 2 to Queen.
Your job is simply to guess which card will be higher before the round begins. Obviously, bets on Dragon win if the Dragon card is higher while Tiger wins if the Tiger card is stronger. If you guess correctly, you win money. Otherwise, you lose your entire stake.
There is also a third possibility – a Tie. This happens if both cards have the same value. You can also bet that the round will result in a Tie, though this is by far the riskiest option. Furthermore, if you bet on Dragon or Tiger and the result is a Tie, you only lose half your initial stake.
In addition to the simple options above, you can also bet on one of 9 possible Blazing Dragon Tiger side bets.
All of the side bets above always pay 1:1 and they always lose if the card drawn is a 7. Also, note that when you place one of these bets, it applies to either Dragon or Tiger. For example, you can bet on a Dragon Odd, and your bet will win if the Dragon card is Odd. You can theoretically bet on both Dragon Odd and Tiger Odd, but there wouldn’t be much point.
Keeping in line with the whole theme of simplicity, every bet in Blazing Dragon Tiger pays even money. The only two exceptions are the Tie bet and the Suited Tie side bet. That said, almost every bet has different RTP values as well, which is something to keep in mind.

This means that the optimal Blazing Dragon Tiger RTP is 96.27%, applying only to the two main bets. Be careful with everything else if you’re a beginner. That 50:1 payout might look attractive, but it’s not really worth suffering a whopping 14% house edge.
This OnAir Entertainment game is equipped with a fairly robust set of UI features. Besides the usual settings and options, you can also access a live chat. The betting table itself shows the number of players that opted to back each bet, too. You can also see the percentage probabilities of each outcome, based on the previous 500 rounds or so.
OnAir Entertainment Blazing Dragon Tiger also puts a lot of focus on its roadmaps. Like baccarat roadmaps, these screens give you insight into any patterns of results in previous rounds. Each works a bit differently, but most focus on winning/losing streaks. While chasing hot and cold numbers won’t really help you, we know some players will appreciate the roadmaps.
