How to Play Blazing Dragon Tiger

Blazing Dragon Tiger uses eight decks of 52 playing cards. One round of the game is extremely simple – the dealer will place one card on the ‘Dragon’ part of the table and one on the ‘Tiger’ spot. Whichever side has the higher value card wins.

In Dragon Tiger, Kings are the strongest possible card. Aces are the weakest and always count as one. The remaining cards work as you would expect them to, ranging from 2 to Queen.

Your job is simply to guess which card will be higher before the round begins. Obviously, bets on Dragon win if the Dragon card is higher while Tiger wins if the Tiger card is stronger. If you guess correctly, you win money. Otherwise, you lose your entire stake.

There is also a third possibility – a Tie. This happens if both cards have the same value. You can also bet that the round will result in a Tie, though this is by far the riskiest option. Furthermore, if you bet on Dragon or Tiger and the result is a Tie, you only lose half your initial stake.

Side Bets

In addition to the simple options above, you can also bet on one of 9 possible Blazing Dragon Tiger side bets.

Odd wins if the next drawn card is an Ace, 3, 5, 9, Jack, or King.
Even wins if the next drawn card is a 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, or Queen.
