Winfinity first hit live casinos with two all-time classics and fan favorites – roulette and blackjack. Their roulette game easily impressed us with interesting betting options and an immaculate presentation.

Similarly, Winfinity live blackjack is a sleek, modern, expertly-crafted live variant of online 21. Seeing how it’s one of this company’s first releases, it’s aiming to attract fans of classic blackjack without muddying the waters too much. It quite clearly succeeds as such, seeing the strong RTP and rules.

Having said that, Winfinity Live Blackjack has at least one thing going for it that sets it apart from other games in its class – its looks. We’re thoroughly impressed with how Winfinity chooses to present its games, and this holds true for 7-seat blackjack tables as well.

On top of that, this game has some interesting twists and terms when it comes to side bets. We’ll cover those in the special features section of this Winfinity Live Blackjack review.

For now, let’s cover the basics of how the game works and what it has to offer.

Key Highlights

Live casino blackjack table with the usual Vegas-style rules
Three side bets including Match the Dealer and First Three
Last Chance side-betting option which allows you to take different odds based on the dealer's hand
Full HD stream available 24/7
Players can choose between two exquisite studios with different décor
7 seats per table with the option to Bet Behind

How to Play Live Blackjack by Winfinity

If you have any experience with live dealer blackjack, you may as well skip this part. Winfinity’s title works as most live casino blackjack do unless you want to get into the side bets.

Just pick a seat and choose the size of your stake using the chips. It’s worth noting that only 7 seats are available per table, which might mean there is no room left. Especially considering a single player can take multiple seats. However, multiple tables are available in any Winfinity casino. Some are streamed from the Bar studio while others are set in the Venice studio. The differences between these two are purely aesthetic, though.

Once the betting period is over, the dealer will deal cards to everyone. Every seated player then gets to play their turn, going from left to right. As always, your goal is to get as close to 21 as possible without going over.

You have the usual options of Hit, Stand, Split, and Double, as per standard blackjack rules.

As far as the rules in this specific variant are concerned, they’re fairly strong. Dealers must draw to 17 and stand on a soft 17. Insurance is allowed, and you can double after a split. Winfinity Live Blackjack uses 8 decks and a purpose-built dealing shoe.

Live Casinos Best Tips for Winfinity Blackjack
    • 1
Be sure to use basic blackjack strategy if you want to take advantage of the low house edge.
    • 2
The Last Chance side bet is interesting, but it’s not an optimal play no matter the odds offered. You can play it for fun, but the RTP is lower than the main bet if you know basic strategy.
    • 3
This game allows players to take Even Money if they get a blackjack. This reduces the payout to 1:1 but negates any chance of your hand pushing if the dealer also gets a natural blackjack. Statistically speaking, it’s not worth taking even odds.

You can find the full list of payouts in Winfinity live casino blackjack below. The main bet offers the usual rewards, so there’s nothing to worry about. The side bets are what you should really pay attention to here. They’re not the usual combination of Perfect Pairs and 21+3, so even experienced players may not be familiar with these wagers.

If you know how basic blackjack charts work, you can play this game with a house advantage of just 0.5%. The side bets are not nearly as good, but they do all have RTP values of over 95%, so they’re not completely out of the question. Our favorite is Match the Dealer with just under 97%.

    Special Features

We’re finally down to the special betting options Winfinity offers on their blackjack tables. We like the fact that they’re not the cliché side bets we see everywhere. That said, this also means that we’re not as familiar with them, so we can’t offer many strategy tips.

Either way, here’s how the side bets work.

    • First Three is pretty much a different name for 21+3. Your goal is to try to make poker hands by combining your first two cards with the dealer’s up card. In Winfinity blackjack, the payout is always 8:1, regardless of which hand you manage to make.
    • Match the Dealer is a rarely-seen blackjack side bet that wins if your hole cards match the dealer’s. If you have one or more cards of the same value as the dealer’s up card, you get a payout. The payout is increased if the matching cards are of the same suit. Payouts go even further up if you get a pair.
    • Last Chance is the most interesting of these three. Basically, throughout the game, you can bet on what type of hand the dealer will reveal. You can bet that the hand will have a certain value or be made of certain cards. You can make a Last Chance bet in any point of a round. The payout is dynamic and depends on the result you’re predicting and the cards the dealer has currently revealed. For instance, you can make a Last Chance bet before or after the dealer reveals their up-card.

Beyond that, Winfinity Live Blackjack features the usual trappings of any self-respecting live blackjack game. This includes a settings menu, results history, and a live chat window.

    • Winfiity Live Blackjack tables are all presented in English as far as we’re aware.
    • However, the game’s user interface can change its language to match what you’ve set up with your casino account.

    Our Verdict

Even though it’s the new kid on the block, this is definitely one of our recommended blackjack games to play in 2022. It’s ‘classic’ enough to keep the heart of the game alive and well, but innovative enough to stand out from the crowd. A perfect combination for the discerning blackjack player.

First of all, the smooth performance and quality presentation ensure you’re getting an authentic casino experience. There are dozens of classic live blackjack tables out there, but few can match the good looks of Winfinity’s version.

We’re also glad to finally see someone shake up the side bets a bit. They’re not our favorites either way – side bets are simply a poor option when you play blackjack for real money due to their high house advantage. However, if you enjoy side wagers but are getting tired of the usual Perfect Pairs and 21+3 combo, give this game a try.

All in all, we can give a glowing recommendation to anyone who wants a straightforward but finely-tuned live blackjack table. It’s not available in a huge number of casinos yet, but you can check out some of the recommended casinos on this page and give it a try right now!
