How to Play Live Bet on Poker

Unlike some other live casino poker games, Bet on Poker works with players predicting which of several positions will win the poker hand. We’ll walk you through how Bet on Poker works with a single round as an example.

At the beginning of the game, you can place blind bets on any of the positions. At this point, it doesn’t matter which one you pick – all have the same shot at winning. There can be 4, 6, or 8 positions in a round. The number is determined randomly at the start of each round.

Once this first betting period is over, the dealer will deal out 2 pocket cards to each position. You will then be allowed to bet again. However, the potential payouts for each position will be adjusted based on the likelihood of that position winning. For example, if one position is showing a pair, it will offer a reduced payout.

The game then progresses to the three stages typical of TexasHold’em – the flop, river, and turn. The flop reveals 3 community cards, after which you’re allowed to add new bets. The same goes for the river (fourth community card) and turn (fifth community card.) As before, the payout odds will change with each new step to reflect the new probability of winning.

Finally, the four positions all compare their poker hands, and only one wins per round. If you bet on the winner, you will receive a payout in the amount that was showing at the moment you placed the bet. Atmosfera Bet on Poker is a simple game, but it might take getting used to.

Overall RTP is at its peak after the pocket cards are revealed but before the flop. It’s still pretty hard to guess the winner at this point.
Rounds with only four positions are much easier to get right than, say, 9. Additionally, it’s easier to compare 4 sets of betting odds to find value. As such, four-position rounds are the best for new players.

Unlike many live dealer tables, Bet on Poker does not offer fixed returns. As we’ve explained in the guide section, the payouts change dynamically based on the cards showing. The only exceptions are any blind bets made before pocket cards are dealt. However, even this depends on the number of positions in the current round. The odds start at 3.3 in four-position rounds, but are considerably bigger in 9-position games.

The same applies to the two side bets, with some minor variance. For example, the Suit side bet changes based on which cards were already drawn. For instance, if there are many Hearts already on the table, the payout for a Hearts Suit side bet increases. Similarly, Combination payouts change as the given combination becomes more or less likely to win. The starting number of positions also affects this side bet.

The Suits side betallows you to predict the suit of a particular community card. It is available just before any new community cards are revealed. The payout odds change each time based on the likelihood of the Suit you’re predicting. In the case of the three flop community cards, each of the three cards is a separate bet. For example, you can predict that the first flop card will be a Spade and the second will be a Diamond.

The Combination bet predicts which poker hand will win the current round. For example, if you bet on a Straight and the winning position at the end shows a Straight, you win. Again, the payouts are adjusted with each new step. Generally, having more positions decreases the odds across the board. After all, nine hands are more likely to find a Straight than six of them. Interestingly, though, weak hands like High Card actually increase payouts with more positions.

However, the presentation is stunningly well-made and instantly won a lot of points in our book. We also like that each round can have a different number of positions. This gives the game a bit of variance, making each session unique.

The side bets are the only major gameplay difference compared to, say, Betconstruct Bet on Poker. Betting options are fairly enjoyable in both cases, so we’ll leave the choice to you.
