Evolution boasts one of the largest and most diverse game portfolios in the casino software industry. This certainly extends to live baccarat, and the full lineup includes all sorts of innovative variants. For instance, the Control Squeeze Baccarat table is a staple of the Evo collection – a game that emphasizes slow card turning that builds up anticipation and excitement.
In that sense, Super Speed Baccarat is the complete opposite. As the name implies, the idea with this release is to go through as many rounds of baccarat as possible while complying with the basic principles of the game – players still need time to bet, and the dealers can move and draw cards only so quickly.
In that regard, Super Seed Baccarat certainly delivers. The betting period has been shaved down to around 5 seconds, resulting in one of the fastest baccarat games out there.
If you’re wondering what exactly is the point of that, we’ll break down some of the advantages. First of all, many fans of baccarat play the game by making the same bet over and over again. In fact, the optimal strategy for the game is to repeatedly just bet on the Banker. In other words, most people don’t need too much time to decide what they’re going to play, which makes long betting times just periods of dead air. If this applies to you and you find yourself just wanting to get on with it, this is the perfect game for you.
And yes, before you ask – the rules, payouts, and features are pretty much identical to standard Evolution baccarat. The same can be said about the looks, since it uses the same exact studio and user interface. That’s a good thing, too – Evo didn’t become an industry leader by skimping out on fundamentals such as graphics and streaming quality. In short, Super Speed Baccarat looks great and feels even better to play in our experience.
Super Speed Baccarat operates pretty much the same as traditional baccarat tables and follows standard rules. If you need a refresher on how it all works, make sure to check out our tutorial.
To place a bet, use the chips located at the bottom of the screen and select either Player, Banker, Tie, or any side wagers. Once you confirm, the bet will be active for the earliest upcoming new round.
Since the betting period is so short, we recommend setting up your desired wagers while the previous round is still being resolved. Alternatively, you can set up the Autoplay to place your desired wagers in every round automatically until you turn it off (or run out of money, so be careful with this feature.)
The objective, as with all baccarat games, is to predict whether the Player or Banker will draw cards with a total value closer to 9, or if the round will end in a Tie.
Each side draws two cards, with the option for a third card based on baccarat third card rules. Additionally, any hand total exceeding 10 only counts as its first digit. For example, a total hand value of 16 counts as a score of 6.
Once the card dealing stage is complete, the Player and Banker’s hands are compared. The total that is closer to 9 wins, and all players with the corresponding bet receive a payout as per the game’s paytable. Banker/Player wagers pay 1:1, while Tie bets offer 8:1.
Banker bets have a statistical advantage, which is why all banker bets come with a fixed 5% commission on all bets. Technically, it pays 0.95:1 instead of 1:1. This rule is present in pretty much all baccarat tables, so no surprises here.
Evolution Super Speed Baccarat features six side bets in total. Some of them are quite similar to each other, but they’re also fairly popular baccarat side bets that are quite common in the industry.
If you’ve been keeping up with our review so far, it should come as no surprise that the payouts in this game are standard for casino baccarat. The two main bets pay 1:1, while the Tie bet pays 8:1. Side bets have varying returns based on the outcome – you can check out the table below for more details. The table also displays the RTP rate for every available wager.
The only thing worth mentioning here is the 5% commission on all Banker bets. It’s important because it separates the game from No-commission tables which remove it while placing a different handicap to Banker wagers. It’s good that there’s a commission if you ask us. Though removing it sounds enticing, no-commission tables actually have a higher house edge than classic ones.

Standard payouts mean that the RTP of Super Speed Baccarat live is also, well, standard. In other words, Banker bets are your best option with 98.94%, which is one of the most reliable and best bets you can place at a casino.
Unfortunately, though, the same can’t be said about the other options. The only side bet really worth considering is Player Bonus thanks to its 97.35%. All of the other wagers on offer offer very poor returns, especially in the long term.
It’s unfortunate because it means players are sort of pigeon-holed into a handful of choices despite the game offering quite a few side bets. We can’t really blame Evolution for that, though, since these are the exact same rates and house edge percentages you would find on any baccarat table.
