Andar Bahar is already considered a mainstay game with most top online casinos. It’s a simple but exciting game that anyone can enjoy, and there are already dozens of Andar Bahar games available in live casinos. As such, it’s no surprise that SA Gaming would eventually add a table to their roster. Especially considering it’s an Asia-facing software provider with a large following in India, the birthplace of Andar Bahar.
The SA Gaming-made version is a fairly straightforward rendition of the game. However, it does stand out with a few important features.
First of all, the SA Gaming user interface is immediately recognizable among other game-makers. It takes up much of the screen and isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but it offers a staggering amount of information. If you’re into keeping detailed records of your choices and the results of each round, you’ll love it.
More importantly, however, SA Gaming Andar Bahar features a No Commission button which removes the payout cut for winning Andar bets. Better yet, this mode can improve the overall RTP of the game, making it the arguably best Andar Bahar live table online. If that doesn’t grab your attention, nothing will – so let’s get right into the review.
The core rules of the game are a straightforward version of Andar Bahar. If you want to learn how all of it works and how to play Andar Bahar live, start by reading our tutorial.
As far as this table specifically is concerned, there are no big surprises. It uses a single standard deck of 54 cards. The first card the dealer draws is called the Game Card or the Joker. The goal of the game is for one of the two card piles, Andar and Bahar, to draw a card of the same value as the Joker.
Normally, Andar always draws the first card. This gives it a slight advantage, but it also means Andar bets pay 0.9:1, as opposed to the 1:1 reward of Bahar.
As a player, your job is to bet on which of these two sides will do so first. Rounds typically only last a few seconds due to the simple gameplay. You have around 12 seconds between rounds to place your bets. You can do so by using the on-screen chips to select the size of your stake and then placing them on the bet you wish to make.
Andar and Bahar are the two main bets, but you do have additional options. The side wagers available in this game include:
In July 2023, SA Gaming introduced a new feature to the game – No Commission mode. You can switch it on at any time by clicking the button to the right.
No Commission mode increases the payouts of Andar bets to 1:1, making them equal with Bahar.
However, to compensate, Andar bets only win 0.25:1 if they win on the first card dealt to the Andar pile.
It seems like a small change, but the math behind it simply works. Turning on this mode increases the game’s RTP by a significant margin. Also, note that the Andar 1st, Bahar 1st, and First 3 side bets are not available in No Commission mode.
The base game mode offers “industry standard” payouts for Andar Bahar live casino tables. Sadly, the same can’t be said about the side bets, which are generally disappointing.
You can find out how much you can win with this game on the paytable below. The first column lists payouts in standard mode while the second one deals with payouts in No Commission mode.
|Payout (No Commission Mode)
|1:1/First Card: 0.25:1
|1st Andar / 1st Bahar Side Bet
|First 3 Side Bet
|Number of Cards Dealt Side Bet
If you play the game in standard mode, the RTP for SA Gaming Andar Bahar is 97.87%. Of course, this figure only applies to the Andar bet, and Bahar is a slightly weaker option.
If you turn on No Commission Andar Bahar, the RTP is 98.61%. Again, this only applies to Andar bets, but it’s the highest RTP in any Andar Bahar game we’ve ever seen.
Conversely, the side bets generally have underwhelming figures, so we suggest avoiding them.
