BetGames is a provider many see as innovative and creative.

They certainly have a unique approach to producing live casino games, mixing the traditional with the avant-garde. The games the company has released up to this point predominantly have elements of lottery and TV-betting, all the while retaining the stylish casino feel of land-based venues. In early 2020, BetGames launched Live 6+ Poker, an innovative game of poker played with a reduced 36-card deck.

The idea was to make a poker version that is similar to the popular standard poker Hold’Em format, but produces big hands more often due to the reduced number of cards in the deck. The game is streamed from Lithuania from the company’s dedicated studio with a unique soothing design and qualified dealers.

BetGames made sure to create a cosy atmosphere, a possibility for increased interaction and disturbed the traditional order for best hands in poker to the benefit of the player.

New decks used for each game, no card mixing between rounds
The dealer sits closer to the camera making the game feel more intimate
Fast game with only nine cards dealt per hand
Amazing outcome-based opportunities and a nice studio atmosphere

How to Play BetGames Live 6+ Poker Online

  • Live 6+ Poker is played with a 36-card deck in which the lowest card is a 6.
  • The cards numbered from 2 to 5 have been excluded from the deck, and therefore from the game. Other differences from standard poker include the facts that Ace can now form part of a Straight, Flush is higher than Full House and Three of a Kind is higher than a Straight combination.
  • When you load the game, you will be welcomed by a gorgeous female dealer at a purple plush table. The Dealer, Split and Player positions on the table are digitally rendered. The Bet Slip is located in the right bottom corner, below the video feed. The round begins with the dealer dealing two cards to themselves, two to the player, and deals a five-card flop in the middle of the table. Further cards are dealt in stages and bets can be made before each stage. Once the player has five cards, the dealer’s two cards are revealed.
  • Available bets include betting on the dealer’s hand, one the player’s hand or on the concrete outcome of a hand. In other words, you can bet on the likelihood of a Full House, a Flush or other type of hand. Possible hands are One Pair, Two Pair, Straight, Three of a Kind, Full House, Flush, Four of a Kind, Straight and Royal Flush. The odds for any result are automatically recalculated at every stage of the game.

Our Verdict of Live 6+ Poker

BetGames won the prestigious SBC 2019 award “Rising star in casino innovation”, so they must be doing something right.

We’d say they are doing many things just right. Their games are fresh and distinctive and 6+ Poker fits into the company image perfectly. Live 6+ Poker is a game that upgrades the standard poker game in a very creative way without taking away the value players can get from the bets made available.
