Andar Bahar is an ancient but relatively simple casino game. Every round follows a similar pattern with only two possible outcomes, so even complete beginners won’t get lost. The dealer starts by drawing a single card from the shoe (the so-called joker card) and placing it on the table face up, between the line that divides Andar and Bahar. The player’s objective is to guess what the position of that card is going to be – Andar or Bahar.

If the ‘joker’ card is red (diamonds or hearts), the first card drawn goes to the Bahar pile. If the joker is of clubs or spades, the first card goes to the Andar pile. Note that this affects the payouts of the base game.
