Live Spin a Win is played on an actual wheel of fortune, handled by a live dealer. The original release employed an RNG wheel, which was replaced after the players had complained that the software is not synched with the wheel. The numbers are distributed across the wheel in different frequencies, which directly affects the payout rate – 40 is the highest winning number with 40:1 payout rate, as it appears on the wheel just once, as opposed to number 1, which covers 23 positions and offers even money payout.
The players can also bet on Even or Odd numbers with x1.25 and x0.75 payout rate, respectively. If the wheel lands on one of the multipliers, the players’ bets will remain on the table for another spin and the payout rate will be increased by the relevant value. Playtech’s Live Spin a Win is a worthy “adversary” of the Evolution Gaming’s wheel, although it does lack two features – there are no Auto Play and Bet All options, both of which are offered in Dream Catcher. Apart from that, the quality of the platform is more than adequate and, if you dislike Evolution’s version of the game for any reason, Playtech’s Spin a Win is a great alternative.
