Like most other Money Wheel live casino games, the basic gameplay revolves around predicting which number the wheel will land on.
The wheel itself is split into 54 segments of different types:
- Number 1 – 21 segments
- Number 2 – 15 segments
- Number 5 – 5 segments
- Number 10 – 4 segments
- 2 Wonderspins – 3 segments
- 5 Wonderspins – 1 segment
- Magic Dice – 2 segments
- 2 Walterspins – 1 segment
- Mystery Spins – 2 segments
Each of these types of segments corresponds to one of the 8 types of bets you can make. The only exception is Myster Spins, which are not connected to a specific bet but can increase the payout of any active wager.
Every round starts with a 15-second betting period. During this time, you can place any number of wagers on the 8 betting positions.
As for the bets themselves, half of them are simple Numbers bets while the others are all used to qualify for intricate bonus rounds. We’ll explain how each of them works below.
Numbers Bets
The numbers are the simplest types of bets you can make in Adventures Beyond Wonderland. Simply pick a number for your bet, and if the wheel lands on that number, you win an instant payout.
These bets are also conveniently named after the payout you can expect from them. For instance, if you win a Number 2 bet, you get twice your stake as a payout.
Obviously, the bigger numbers appear on fewer segments on the wheel, which means they’re harder to win but pay more.
Mystery Spins Bonus
Two wheel segments do not correspond to any available bet. These so-called Mystery Segments can instead boost the payout of all active bets in the current round.
If the wheel lands on a Mystery Segment, the game randomly picks one of two types of bonues:
- Card Soldiers – Players are presented with 4 face-down playing cards. Your job is to pick one of the cards blind, which reveals a multiplier that is applied to your total bet as a payout. Each of the four cards contains a batch of potential multipliers, ranging from 2x to 10x. Depending on your chosen card, one of these multipliers is awarded to your total stake (the sum of all bets you made in that round).
- Caterpillar Mystery Multiplier – The famous Caterpillar from the book blows a bubble that floats across the screen and reveals multipliers that apply to all Number bets. All currently active bets remain active, and the wheel spins again. If you win a Caterpillar Numbers bet with a multiplier using the free respin, you’ll get a higher payout, ranging from
Bonus Bets
If you place a bet on a Bonus round and the bet wins, a bonus minigame triggers, and you participate in it.
There are 4 types of bonus bets in total following a major update to Adventures Beyond Wonderland in 2022.
WonderSpins Bonus Round
The WonderSpins bonus round can be triggered using the 2 Wonderspins and 5 Wonderspins bets. Most of the rules and mechanics of these wagers are identical. However, 5 Wonderspins tends to award bigger prizes but is 3 times less likely to win.
When a Wonderspins bonus triggers, the game switches to a separate pair of wheels.
The outer wheel contains 54 segments with different characters from Alice in Wonderland. Each type of segment also has an initial multiplier:
- 1 Rabbit segment – 50x multiplier
- 4 Chesire Cat segments – 14x multipliers
- 2 Queen of Hearts segments – 8x multipliers
- 9 Dodo segments – 5x multipliers
- 11 Mouse segments – 4x multipliers
- 16 Mad Hatter segments – 2x multipliers
- 2 Eat Met segments – Increase all other multipliers by +1, then respin
- 2 Dring Me segments – Decrease all other multipliers by -1, then respin
- 3 Segments with no wins
The inner wheel contains extra Wonderspins or additional multipliers.
Every time the WonderSpins wheels spin, they land on one result on the inner wheel and one result on the outer wheel. The resulting multipliers are summed up and added to a running count.
The presenter will spin these wheels 2 or 5 times, depending on whether the bonus was triggered using the 2 Wonderspins or 5 Wonderspins bets. The inner wheel can award additional spins beyond that, which further increases the total payout.
After there are no more Wonderspins left, the total multiplier of the running count is applied to your stake for the winning bet and awarded as a prize.
Magic Dice Bonus Round
The magic dice bonus round is played using an automatic dice shaker and a 6×4 grid of squares that contain hidden prizes.
The goal of the minigame is for players to advance up the grid using the results shown on the dice. Every time the dice are rolled, you move up the grid by one row. The column you move onto is decided by the dice roll.
- If the square contains a multiplier, you win the displayed amount and the bonus round ends.
- If the square contains a green arrow, you advance to the next row and roll again.
- If the square contains a purple 2x bonus, all multipliers on the grid are doubled, and you roll again
Higher rows tend to contain bigger multipliers, so advancing up the grid will increase the payout for the round.
If you hit 4 green arrows in a row and advance to the top of the grid, you win the grand bonus of 100x.
Walterspins Bonus Round
The Walterspins bonus was added to the game in a post-launch update. It only appears on one segment, but it can award large prizes.
It uses the same pair of wheels as Wonderspins. They contain the same characters and multipliers, and largely work the same as with the 2/5 Wonderspins bets.
The main difference between this bonus round and Wonderspins is the addition of an extra multiplier, which gets applied to all of the characters on the wheel.
Start by clicking one of the four bubbles that appear on the screen. This reveals a multiplier that is applied to all characters on the outer wheel – 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, or 10x.
The wheels then spin the same way they do in Wonderspins twice (with potential extra spins from the inner wheel). Any resulting multipliers are added together after being increased by Walter’s multipliers and paid out as an instant reward.
