The game aims to deliver a playing experience one would normally expect to receive as a VIP in brick and mortar casinos. In a way, Playtech’s Soiree version is created to compete with Evolution Gaming’s Salon Prive, also reserved for big bettors. How to Play Playtech Live Soiree Blackjack Online

With the table being open only at peak times, you will often see several seats being already taken. The table limits go from £/$/€50 to £/$/€10,000 per hand, so take a good look at your bankroll before you join. If you can afford it, you will get the full VIP treatment. The setting is as dark and elegant as it can be, and the dealers are slick and skilled. The players get a 15-seconds window to place their wagers after which they will receive two face-up cards for their starting hands. The dealer receives one card face-up and one face-down. Further available actions include hit, split, double and stand. One can draw several additional cards, provided the hand does not exceed the value of 21.
When the first two cards in the player’s hand have the same numerical value, they can be split into two hands. There is no surrender and no re-splitting. The dealer can only draw if his hand has a value lower than 17. If the dealer’s up card is an Ace, insurance becomes available. Blackjack pays 3:2 odds.
