PlayPearls provides two separate versions of Live Roulette, one being Live Roulette Expo and the other being Live Roulette – Penthouse. Both are, of course, the same game, although the Expo version is broadcast live from the Expo Casino and the Penthouse version is streamed via the Penthouse Casino, both of which are located in Dublin, Ireland.
While the Expo version is available to play on a 24/7 basis, the Live Roulette – Penthouse option can be enjoyed between the hours of 19:00 and 05:00 UTC time. The main difference between each of these Live Roulette games is that the Penthouse version is streamed from an actual Roulette table, complete with croupier and felt-padded betting space, while the Expo version is from an automatic wheel with digital screens surrounding it.
Upon joining one of the Live Roulette games, you'll find your row of chips along the bottom of the screen, as well as two circular buttons stating 'Clear' and 'Undo'. Above this is a representation of the Roulette betting table, where you're able to select a specific number, colour, or your own personal preference of wagering options.
In the top right hand corner is the live feed of the Roulette wheel, and it's here that you'll need to watch closely. As the wheel spins, a timer will count down, starting off green, where bets can freely be placed, then changing to amber, which is the signal for final bets, and finally red where no further bets can be placed.
Live Roulette from PlayPearls, while not being anything ultimately special above any others out there, does provide players with access to easy-to-use and understand games, complete with all features to give an experience as close to being in a land-based casino as possible. It's let down somewhat by the low quality of the video streaming available though, but for those who don't see this as a big factor, these could be the perfect game for you.
