Portomaso Gaming Fashion Punto Banco is (currently) one of two tables launched as a part of the collaborative project between FashionTV Gaming Group (the operator of BetFashionTV casino), and Portomaso Gaming, a live gaming software developer with more than 350 games available across 15 global markets.
The Fashion Punto Banco is streamed from the BetFashionTV VIP lounge in Portomaso Casino (located in Malta), which is also the location of the Fashion Roulette table. The LED television sets placed behind the dealer are featuring ongoing broadcasts of fashion shows and catwalks, adding a touch of glamour and making the entire experience a bit more “VIP”.
Live Fashion Punto Banco is a classic variant, with no side bets available. The players start the session by placing their bets on Player, Banker, or Tie, and the bets are settled according to the standard Punto Banco payout rates:
• Punto: 1:1
• Banco: 0.95:1
• Tie – 8:1
The position of the front camera is somewhat awkward – placed at the table level, it creates an illusion that you are looking up at the dealer. At the same time, it prevents you from actually seeing the cards, although the developer resolved this issue with a “picture in picture” technology. The roadmaps are placed under the statistics tab, and the results of the last ten rounds are pinned to the game screen at all times.
Portomaso Gaming Fashion tables are definitely an interesting change of pace, especially if you are in the mood for something a bit more flashy and elegant. At the same time, playing the game in full table mode can feel slightly uncomfortable, as opposed to the live table games where the camera is positioned over the dealer’s head. This means that you will always have to keep your eye on the mini screen in order to see the cards (unless you rely on the digital display), which can ruin the experience, considering how some players like to have a full overview of the table.
