Sunbet is very fond of producing baccarat games, which fits into their profile of an Asian-oriented software supplier. In fact, their repertoire contains multiple baccarat tables and game variations and Bid Baccarat seems particularly interesting. Within the Asian gambling community, baccarat is, by far, the most popular live dealer game. At this point, nearly every well-known live casino provider offers one or more versions of this simple card game and there’s very little one can do to completely reinvent the gameplay. Sunbet doesn’t even attempt to do that. Instead, the supplier focuses on creating a comfortable atmosphere, a nice ambience, and to provide stable software base to support live broadcasting from its studios in the Philippines.
The interface is less busy than what we’ve seen with some other suppliers aiming to cover the same market, and the game follwos the same set of rules as traditional baccarat. However, in Sunbet’s Live Bid Baccarat there are side bets and there are rules for drawing a third card. Also, a 5% commission is charged on Banker bets, which is not unusual and can be seen in other similar products, also equivalents in the western market.
The round begins with placing bets. The baccarat table has 7 seats, therefore accepts 7 players at any one time. Participands have 35 seconds to place their wagers, after which the gorgeous Asian dealer will start dealing cards from the shoe. As per usual, the game revolves around the “battle” between the Player and the Banker. Both the Banker and the Player will receive at least 2, but no more than 3 cards in each round. Special rules are applied when it comes to dealing a third card. The Player needs to get a third card for every hand total of 0 to 5. The Banker needs to take the third card for every 2-card hand total of 0 to 2 with the following applying to other cases:
• Banker total is 3 - if Player total is 8, then no need to get a 3rd card
• Banker total is 4 - if Player total is 1,8,9,10, then no need to get a 3rd card
• Banker total is 5 - if Player total is 1,2,3,8,9,10, then no need to get a 3rd card
• Banker total is 6 - if Player total is 6/7, then get a 3rd card
• Banker total is 7 - do not get a 3rd card
If 2-hand total values of Banker/Player are 8 or 9, cards are revealed and the winner is evaluated. Of course, there is also the possibility of ending the round in a Tie. The odds of placing the Banker bet are 1:0.95 (5% commission is charged), Player bet odds are 1:1 and Tie bet pays 1:8. Banker Pair and Player Pair side bets pay at 1:11 odds, no commission.
Live Bid Baccarat is a highly enjoyable baccarat game hosted by lovely Asian dealers with a well-balanced interface, on-screen statistics, interactive atmosphere and plenaty of opportunities to bet on. The settings permit the player to choose an avatar and a nickname when joining the table, and also choose among 8 different languages. All in all, a great game that merits your attention, especially if you are already a member of a casino that has it on offer, such as Dafabet.
