Evolution is looking to expand on the Belgian live dealer market as they have signed up five new licensees for their new studio in Casino de Spa. The new studio will provide shared tables for non-stop streaming every day of the week. The studio will be organized in accordance with the gaming regulations determined by Belgian Gaming Commission.

According to Evolution’s press release, the Belgian studio is expected to be launched at the second quarter of this year. The location for the studio, Casino de Spa takes pride in being the world’s oldest casino. It was built in 1763 and today it offers 152 gaming machines and nine table games. New Live Dealer studio powered by the experts in the industry, Evolution, will definitely be an added value to their offer. Here’s what Emmanuel Mewissen, CEO of Circus Group and Owner of Casino de Spa, says about that: “We are delighted to be working with Evolution Gaming, another leader in the gaming sector. We have a track record of innovation at Casino de Spa and to be able to offer a world-class Live Casino from here is very much in keeping with our rich history. Live Casino is a dynamic sector and we look forward to launching the market-leading Live Casino solution for Belgium.”

Evolution have signed the agreements with five licensed operators: bwin.be, unibet.be, 777.be, Circus.be and starcasino.be. They all hold class A license and they are ready to start Live Dealer streaming with the help of the latest technology provided by Evolution. Live Dealer Roulette, Blackjack and Auto Slingshot Roulette are the first games to be streamed from the Pink Ballroom of Casino de Spa. All games streamed will be available on all platforms: desktop, mobile and tablet. The tables from which games will be streamed will be shared by the operators and the live dealers will speak in French and Flemish. This is one of the regulations as defined by the Belgian Gaming Commission which has recently done some breakthrough changes in the gaming regulations. Let us remind you that by the beginning of this year BGC have banned from operation all live-dealer providers which do not operate within country’s borders. Regarding regulations and their new venture in the Belgian market Jens von Bahr, CEO at Evolution Gaming, said: “Once again, Evolution’s investment in regulated markets will give both existing and new licensees a significant competitive edge. This takes our total number of studios to five; and it fits with our strategy of delivering customized streaming solutions to meet the needs of licensees and regulators.”

He also stated that the fifth studio will be no different from the other four in terms of technology and equipment, as well as the innovative approach that will help Belgian operators be more competitive in the market.
