Gravity Blackjack Cheat Sheet: Check the Rules First

The published Gravity Blackjack rules describe an eight-deck game, a dealer who stands on 17, doubling on the initial two cards, and splitting. A natural blackjack pays 3:2. Those details establish the starting point for choosing a chart.

Scope of this cheat sheet: the tables below are a starting-hand reference for multi-deck blackjack with the dealer standing on soft 17, doubling on any initial two cards, and no surrender. Pair recommendations show the effect of doubling after a split, abbreviated DAS. Dealer-blackjack settlement is handled separately.

Check those settings in the table’s Help panel before using the chart. A soft 17 contains an ace counted as 11, such as A,6. If the dealer hits that hand, surrender is available, or special rules alter settlement, choose a chart configured for those conditions. A late-hand automatic-win rule also needs its own treatment.

How to Read the Cheat Sheet

Check for a pair first. A pair of eights has its own decision even though its total is 16.
Then check whether the hand is soft. A,6 is soft 17 because the ace can count as 1. A hand with no ace counted as 11 is hard.
Use the dealer’s visible card. Ten-value cards include 10, J, Q, and K.
Check which actions are available. When a recommended double is unavailable, hit unless the soft-18 rule says to stand.

A hard 16 against a dealer 6 is a stand under these assumptions. A hard 16 against a dealer 10 is a hit when surrender is unavailable. Two eights should be checked in the pair table before treating them as an ordinary 16.

Soft-Hand Cheat Sheet

Pair-Splitting Cheat Sheet

The middle column assumes DAS is permitted. The final column gives the relevant exceptions when it is unavailable. Check the allowed number of splits in Help. If you cannot split a non-ace pair again, return to its hard total; split aces follow the game’s special drawing restrictions.

Dealer Blackjack Checks: The Decisions That Can Change

A dealer’s early check for blackjack changes what is known when you make a double or split decision. If blackjack has already been ruled out, the added stake faces a different situation from a game where an undiscovered blackjack can collect every additional wager.

The public Gravity Blackjack rules we consulted describe a check when the dealer shows an ace. They do not fully resolve the handling of every added stake against a ten-value upcard. Confirm that point in your table’s Help panel.

Read the column that matches the rules for the specific upcard. If a table checks an ace but leaves a ten-value card unchecked, those two upcards can require different columns. A policy that refunds additional stakes needs a strategy configured for that policy. The dealing animation alone does not establish how the bets will be settled.

Side Bets, Multipliers, and the Cost of a Round

Once you have chosen how to play the main hand, account for every optional wager. Gravity Blackjack offers Perfect Pairs, 21+3, Lucky Ladies, and Dealer Bust. Each uses a separate stake, and each can lose while the main hand wins.

The game can assign a multiplier to a side bet after betting closes. A highlighted bet still needs a qualifying result. Multipliers cannot be used as a reliable signal for the next round, and chasing a particular combination can lead to more wagering than originally planned.

Calculate the Full Stake Before You Play

With a €10 main bet, adding four €1 side bets brings the opening stake to €14. The side bets increase the amount committed by 40%. Any later double or split requires more money.

The next examples use that same €14 opening stake, with no doubles or splits. Total returned includes any winning stake. The net result deducts every wager placed in the round.

The last row explains why a winning animation can accompany an overall loss. A 5:1 payout on €1 returns €6, while the other €13 of stakes has lost. These are arithmetic examples of possible settlement, with no prediction about how frequently the results occur.

Set Limits Before the Betting Window Opens

Choose a spending limit you can afford to lose and a time limit before joining. Include any planned side bets and the extra stake required for a permitted double or split. If the next decision would take you beyond the limit, stop committing more money.

A fixed opening stake makes the cost easier to track. Increasing stakes to recover a loss can rapidly change that cost. Starting at €5, six doubled losing stakes of €5, €10, €20, €40, €80, and €160 lose €315; the next proposed stake is €320. Side bets and blackjack decisions can add further exposure.

Common Gravity Blackjack Strategy Mistakes

Using a chart with the wrong dealer rule. Standing on soft 17 and hitting soft 17 produce different recommendations.
Treating every 16 alike. A pair of eights and a hard 10,6 hand require different checks.
Counting a side bet win as the round’s profit. Deduct the main stake and all losing side bets.
Assuming a multiplier guarantees a payout. The selected side bet still has to qualify.
Doubling or splitting without checking settlement. An unchecked dealer blackjack can change the value of committing extra stakes.
Increasing stakes because a result feels due. The recent display does not establish a dependable forecast for the next multiplier.
