Evolution, one of the market leaders in the igaming industry, has announced a massive roadmap for 2023. It will be fully showcased during the ICE London convention on February 7-9.

Exciting new live casino games are to be officially announced as well as more than 100 new releases for the upcoming year. Here’s what we know so far.

Funky Time and Extra Chilli Epic Spins

Let’s start with the most interesting bit for us live casino fans. Arguably the biggest two announcements from Evo are a pair of live casino game shows.

The first is called Funky Time and is described as a ‘’70’s disco-themed, bonus and multiplier-laden extravaganza and Evolution’s biggest new game show since Crazy Time.’ Both the announcement and the game’s name imly that it will be similar to the mega-successful Crazy Time. Game shows are Evolution’s bread and butter, but none have arguably reached the heights of fame of Crazy Time. It will be interesting to see how they decide to improve the formula.

Extra Chilli Epic Spins™, on the other hand, appears to be a new foray into the idea of live casino slots. The provider attempted something along those lines with 2022’s Crazy Coin Flip. However, this time they’ll borrow the idea from a successful slot series from subsidiary Big Time Gaming. The focus will be on the social aspects of live casinos combined with the proven staying power of slots.

Ezugi and Other Announcements

Ezugi is a subsidiary provider of the Evolution Group, and a few announcements can be expected from this brand as well. Video Blackjack seems to be the next big thing for Ezugi as well as something called Ultimate Roulette. Precious little info is available about these games at the moment, though we understand Video Blackjack will be all about connecting players via their own cameras. It’s an interesting idea, but we’ll have to see how it pans out in the real world.

Beyond that, other Evolution-owned brands expect big releases as well. Most of these are online slots made by NetEnt, Red Tiger, Big Time Gaming, and NoLimit. The full list includes more than 100 games, so you can rest assured that we’re in for an exciting year.
