Playtech, the online casino software giant, recently launched a new series of dedicated live casino tables. Partnered with Evoke PLC, these new tables are set to offer customized, exclusive versions of popular Playtech products such as Mega Fire Blaze Roulette.

The new tables are streamed from a brand new studio in Riga, Latvia, and are exclusively available in a select few live dealer casinos.

Club Aurora Studio

In an official announcement on April 17, 2025, Playtech unveiled the opening of a brand new studio. Like most other Playtech studios, it’s located in Riga, Latvia. However, the so-called Club Aurora is purely dedicated to bringing dedicated, branded tables.

According to the software provider, this new studio features a series of classic Blackjack and Roulette tables, all set within a modern and entertaining space. The new tables are intended to be branded for specific online casinos, largely belonging to the 888 group.

To be clear, these games will be identical to the ones found in the standard Playtech catalogue. The rules, gameplay, and overall experience of these games are simply set in a customizable environment, courtesy of Playtech’s partner Evoke PLC.

We can also safely assume that the new blackjack tables will cover several variants of the game, namely All Bets Blackjack and Grand Blackjack.

Trivia Game, RNG Games, & More

According to the announcement, the new studio also features a unique Trivia game that will only be available in select casinos from the 888 Group lineup.

While not much is known about the Trivia game, it’s described as a completely free-to-play experience whose main intent is to draw in new, wider audiences. In other words, it’s not a gambling game at all, but a Trivia game show only purpose is some educational fun. While we don’t have a lot of info about this release at this time, it would certainly be an interesting new direction for Playtech.

Besides Playtech’s live casino suite, the collaboration also encompasses some of their RNG casino games, namely bingo and video poker. How these RNG-based games connect to a live casino studio is not yet clear.

However, spokespeople from both Playtech and Evoke PLC shared their excitement about the new venture. George Voyatzis, Playtech’s commercial VP, stated:

“We are delighted to continue partnering with Evoke group to launch the three unique dedicated live studios. As Playtech Live continues to lead the way on creating an entertainment-led experience that delivers on both a gameplay and the presentation perspective, we have every confidence that the customers of 888, William Hill and Mr Green will have an exceptional gaming experience.”

What Are Dedicated Live Casino Tables?

Dedicated live casino tables, otherwise known as bespoke tables, are live casino games that are tied to a single online casino brand. In most cases, this simply refers to the visuals – most dedicated tables are copies of standard games with visual improvements that tie into the casino’s visual identity.

For example, if you play live blackjack on 888 casino, you might notice that all the tables have big glowing logos of the casino in the background, printed on the table felt, and so on. That’s a dedicated blackjack table (operated by Playtech.)

This stands in contrast to most other live dealer games, which are generalised versions made to be offered at any casino.

Dedicated tables are usually reserved for big casino brands that have the means to offer exclusive titles. Of course, this doesn’t make the games themselves any better or even different at all. It just makes them more recognisable through unique visuals.

Where Can I Play These New Tables?

The Club Aurora studio was opened specifically to cater to the 888 group, a major player in the online gambling industry.
