After numerous complaints, Playtech unrolls the upgraded version of Live Spin a Win
Live Casino players can now try out the revamped edition of Playtech’s Live Spin a Win, a wheel of fortune style game that is now live on all Playtech powered online casinos.
Pulled Off Original
The game was initially launched earlier this year but after the company received numerous complaints, they pulled it off the market.
Players complained that the game didn’t seem too “live” and the main problem seems to be the RNG engine that controlled the game play. The provider started from the start to change the mechanics of the game since the first technology wasn’t enough to meet the high expectations of the experienced live casino players.
An Improved Version
Three months later, Playtech launched the second version of Live Spin a Win and it promises great fun.
The game is based on a manual wheel and looks smooth, reminding a little bit of roulette. The wheel stands in a vertical position and has different numbers within colored segments to the ones found in roulette.
The dealer spins the wheel and players bet on which number the wheel will stop at. Player can choose whether the next number will be higher or lower, or whether it will be an even or an odd number, or he can choose the color and all that dictates what your bet will be. The RTP to player is 97.22% according to the provider and is achieved by playing the Odd Side Bet. Other bets have lower RTP.
There are three Side Bets on this game that can be played on their own or alongside the main bets. You bet on Odds that pay 0.75:1, Evens 1.25:1 and Multiplier 25:1. There are 30 Odd numbers and 21 Even numbers on the wheel and therefore there are different payouts.
