Evolution Gaming and BetMGM Sign Agreement For US Market

By: Staff Writer, September 1, 2020

Evolution Gaming to power BetMGM brands’ Live Casino across the US.

One of the main providers of Live Casino solutions, Evolution Gaming, is continuing to expand its US footprint. The company has announced that it has signed a US-wide agreement with BetMGM. The latter represents the joint venture between MGM Resorts International and GVC Holdings.

What the Deal Means

The agreement will see Evolution power Live Casino services for BetMGM’s brands across the US.

Initially, the agreement covers a number of Evolution’s live table games, and game show-style games. They will become available to customers of BetMGM, and sister brands Borgata Online and Party Casino. The games will come from Evolution’s Live Casino studio in New Jersey.

Moreover, the agreement will extend the existing live games line-up delivered for BetMGM in New Jersey by Ezugi. Ezugi became part of Evolution Gaming in January 2019.

The Impressions

Matthew Sunderland, Vice President of Gaming for BetMGM, spoke about the new contract. “BetMGM was formed with a very clear objective: to lead sports betting and online gaming in the United States. As the undisputed leader and innovator in Live Casino services for digital gaming, Evolution, is the perfect fit for us.

Furthermore, Evolution can enable their brands to “roll out an extremely rich, world-class online live gaming experience across the US.” Also, their new state launches roadmap is very much alike. Sunderland added that they are both “building on our current leadership position in Gaming in New Jersey.”

Meanwhile, Johan Nordstrom, Chief Executive Officer at Evolution Gaming Malta, stated the following. “We are honoured to have been chosen by BetMGM to be partners in the fast-developing US live gaming market. This is a natural extension of our existing relationship with GVC Holdings’ brands.”

Following the New Jersey launch Evolution will continue to work together with BetMGM brands. They want to help ensure that they are among the first in Pennsylvania and Michigan markets. And this coincides with the launch of Evolution’s new studios that will open in these two states.

This month, Evolution Gaming has also announced its partnership with PointsBett for live casino services rollout in the US.
