Pragmatic Play strengthens its position in Live Dealer industry via Extreme Live Gaming Purchase

Pragmatic Play has completed the acquisition of Extreme Live Gaming, the live dealer subsidiary of Austria’s Novomatic Group and will now add live dealer games to its portfolio currently including slots, bingo and scratch cards. The financial terms of the agreement haven’t been disclosed.

Extreme Live Gaming was founded in 2013 and acquired by Novomatic in 2014 as one of the fastest growing providers of digital casino games for the online gaming industry. Being licensed by Malta Gaming Authority and UK Gambling Commission, the company offers a range of desktop and mobile live dealer games to its customers.

Pragmatic Play Pushes Forward

Malta-based development studio, Pargmatic Play has a huge list of clients in over 70 countries including the biggest names like LeoVegas, Mr Green, Betsson, BetVictor and Cherry’s ComeOn.

Their diverse portfolio has more than 80 HTML5 games and they are continuously launching new content with an average of two new games per month. Some of their most popular titles are Queen of Gold, Wolf Gold, Panther Queen, Hot Safari, Gold Rush and Chilli Heat which all prove their motto of constant innovation and dedication.

Since live casino popularity is constantly growing in the last couple of years, it holds a great deal of potential and they decided to pursue that vertical, Melissa Summerfield, Pragmatic Play chief commercial officer, explained.

“We have every confidence that our passion and drive for going beyond our clients and players’ expectations will help us to realise that potential.”

Live Dealer Addition

Pragmatic Play is now able to add live dealer games to its multi-product portfolio and they chose Extreme Live Gaming as the provider with the best desktop and mobile solutions. The provider operates 10 tables, covering roulette, blackjack and baccarat from its London studio.

“The name Extreme Live Gaming stands for quality and innovation, and we are delighted to enhance our multi-vertical gaming strategy with this acquisition, further cementing our position as a leading industry provider,” Summerfield added.

Pragmatic Play customers will from now on enjoy live dealer titles from Extreme Live Gaming including Golden Ball, Reel Roulette and Roulette 360 and hopefully launch them to the very top.

DarwynPalenzuela, the chief executive officer of Extreme Live Gaming, said: “We pride ourselves on providing groundbreaking live solutions both popular with players and profitable for our partners, and this acquisition will empower us to take our business to the next level.”
