Two Batman slots open the series of six DC Comic-themed slots powered by Playtech.
Following the multi-year deal signed in February this year, leading providers of online gaming solutions and content, Playtech in partnership with Warner Bros, launch the first two of the series of six announced DC Comics-branded slots. The first two titles, Batman & The Joker Jewels and Batman & Catwoman Cash revolve around the famous vigilante from Gotham city and his battles with villains. The rest of the series is expected to be launched in 2017.
The leaders of the gambling industry Playtech have partnered up with Warner Bros representing DC Entertainment in February and signed an agreement to provide the gaming content based on legendary DC Comics films and series: Batman Classic TV Series, Superman I and II, Man of Steel and Green Lantern.
Branded slots are very popular with the players, especially when they come based on the most popular edition of super heroes. Playtech are looking to enrich their portfolio of over 600 games with the DC Comics brand. In the words of Playtech’s COO Shimon Akad: “I’m extremely proud of our collaboration between Warner Bros. Consumer Products and Playtech’s innovative development studios. The Batman Classic TV Series games, that will rapidly be followed by Superman I, Superman II, and Man of Steel and a whole host of other DC Super Hero branded games, are a premium addition to our best-performing range of the industry’s leading progressive jackpot slot content and will provide our licensees and DC Super Hero fans with the ultimate Batman gaming experience.”
Popular superhero-themed slots will be designed and developed with their cutting-edge technology and included in their well-known omni-channel platform, Playtech ONE, thanks to which the games will be available on any device and via a single account and wallet.
