NetEnt acquires two Class 2 licenses for providing their content on Romanian market.
Net Entertainment Software (NetEnt) one of the leaders in providing software solutions for igaming will be offering their portfolio on Romanian market as they have obtained two licenses last week. National Gaming Office of Romania has awarded two Class 2 licenses to NetEnt, which is a clear sign that NetEnt are slowly taking over international markets.
NetEnt Conquering The Global Market
According to NetEnt’s press release this new venture “is an important part of NetEnt’s growth strategy”. They already possess licenses in several European market and acquiring the right to provide their online casino software in Romania is another sign that they are devoted to expanding their business on European and even global market. Their targets are primarily regulated markets and Romania came as a logical choice. Having in mind that they have also been investing in new technology and innovations they are certainly on a good way to achieve their goal of becoming leaders in igaming software development. Many famous brands such as PokerStars, 888.com, Gambling.org and others already use their platform. For example, PokerStars is one of the casino’s that provides NetEnt’s portfolio of games to American players in New Jersey.
New Regulations New Rules
Romania seems as a suitable ground for online casinos and online casino providers. The market is well-regulated, due to the recently adopted new law regarding gambling, according to which foreign providers can obtain a license but only for a limited period. The control is stricter for both online and land-based casinos, which did not go well for Bet365 and their players earlier this year when they had a legal issue because they operated under provisional license which was issued temporarily until they could become fully operational. This definitely will not happen to NetEnt because they have been grated two Class two licenses.
NetEnt Americas LLC was founded in 1996 and since then they have been the pioneers in providing gaming solutions to online casinos. NetEnt’s portofolio includes more than 200 high-paying games including video slots, table games, video poker, keno, mini-games, lottery, but also jackpot. They are best known for their devotion to make their clients competitive on the market with their cutting-edge solutions. Recently they have also signed an agreement with Austrian Softswiss which will offer over two hundred NetEnt games via its platform.
