CasinBeats Awards to follow the CasinoBeats Summit in December with a strong roster of award nominees

Following September’s CasinoBeats Summit, CasinoBeats Awards will be held this December for the first time, celebrating some of the biggest industry names in a proper ending of the year.

CasinoBeats Awards

CasinoBeats Awards will be awarded as a part of SBC Awards at the Artillery Garden at the HAC in London on 4 October in front of the audience of 700. Winners will be named in five categories and the special panel of judges will decide on the winners according to the strict criteria.

Stewart Darkin, editor of CasinoBeats, said: “As we near the end of our first year at CasinoBeats, it seems appropriate that we should recognize some of the many successes from a sector that continues to grow and innovate.”

Being in its fifth year, SBC Awards recognize the achievements form suppliers, operators as well as affiliates from all the major disciplines in the industry.

CasinoBeats Nominees

The event will feature 20 Supplier awards, 13 Operator/Affiliate awards and 5 brand new CasinoBeats awards. The CasinoBeats categories are Casino Operator of the Year, Rising Star in Gaming, Game Developer of the Year, Best Gaming Innovation and Innovation in Live Casino.

Shortlisted for the Innovation in Live Casino are Ezugi, BetConstruct and Evolution Gaming.

Among those nominated in the Casino Operator category are Betsson, GoWild, LeoVegas, Twin and Videoslots, while operators Volt Casino and Omnia are nominated in the Rising Star category, along with Iron Dog, Spinmatic, QTech Games and more.

Play’n GO, Realistic and Yggdrasil are named for Game Developer of the Year and also Best Gaming Innovation but still have a pretty fierce competition to beat including Microgaming, Red Tiger Gaming, Pragmatic Play, Wazdan andiSoftBet.

CasinoBeats Summit debuted this year in September, attracting more than 250 delegates discussing some of the key challenges facing the global online casino sector. The summit is expected to grow exponentially, in terms of presenters, panels and networking opportunities.

“As part of the SBC Awards night, hosted by presenter Kirsty Gallacher, these inaugural CasinoBeats Awards will follow September’s CasinoBeats Summit as a fitting bookend to our first year – and in the process celebrate some of the sector’s headline makers”, Darkin concluded.
