Golden Nugget increases Live Dealer portfolio with Casino Hold’em

New Jersey’s Golden Nugget Casino continues to set the standard throughout the gaming industry by adding its very brand-new game to the existing live dealer offering.

Golden Nugget Leads Forward

It was back in August 2016 that Golden Nugget became the first online casino in New Jersey to pull the trigger on the Live Dealer Format, and now a year-and-a-half later this casino boasts an expanded its live operation with Casino Hold’em.

This live dealer game has become the fourth one available on the site with previously installed Blackjack, Baccarat and two versions of Roulette – standard and multiview.

Casino Hold’em, however, becomes the first case of an entirely new game being added to the casino lobby.

So, what is Casino Hold’em?

Live Casino Hold’em is a vastly different game to the traditional Hold’em variant in which the players lock horns with other players. In this case, however, with Golden Nugget’s Casino Hold’em the players square off against the house.

The main advantage of the Casino Hold’em Live Dealer game is the fact players get a chance to enjoy this thrilling variant from the comfort of their home. They can interact with real dealers who deal physical playing cards and simulate live play perfectly.

The action is being transmitted and broadcasted through high-quality service that provides players with an ultimate immersive experience and the feel of a proper land-based casino.

How to Play It?

The game begins by placing an Ante wager after which two hole cards are dealt to the player and another one facedown to the dealer.

Live dealer will them spread out three community cards after which players can choose to Call or Fold. Should players choose to Call, they must place a bet double the value of their Ante wager.

Two more community cards will follow next – Turn and River – after which the dealer reveals their cards.

At this point the game’s system will determine the best hand of the two and the winner will be given a payout.

The main advantage of the Casino Hold’em available at Golden Nugget Casino id the fact it comes with a side bet. At the same time, the biggest disadvantage of this game is the running hours, knowing that the table is open from 3 PM until 3 AM.
